Spiritual Warfare

Our worship service was blessed and a blessing! It was good to have a first-time visitor in our midst. The preached message was on the subject of spiritual warfare. Drawing from 2 Corinthians 10:3-6, the men were reminded of the fact that our daily battles, struggles, and disagreements with those who oppose the gospel are more than “tough days.” They are noting less than a spiritual war with Satan in the middle of the battlefield. Nonetheless, as Christians, we are to be be prepared for this type of warfare and not use the weapons prized by the world and fashioned by human pride. Rather, we are to use the spiritual weapons of prayer and God’s Word to engage and defeat our enemies.
